Roberty received a special award from IIHM for the charities contribution to education as part off their Teachers Day Awards 2022.

Dr Riszen kindly celebrated her birthday with the children this week and brought a lovely meal for them. The day was filled with games, dancing and laughter as we put the children into couples and they had to dance on ever shrinking squares and the birthday girl also got to dance with one of our elder students who is now a dance instructor

We were delighted to see Dr Aisha again, Aisha celebrated her birthday with the children during August, but this time she returned to talk and a small Physio session with the children. It was great to see the children engaged with the session, answering questions and doing stretches and learning about good posture.

We were delighted to be able to continue distributing biscuits this week, these pictures are from one of the main Governement shcools in Mapusa. We gave out to all students in all standards, these are a few photos from the smaller ones. The elder ones ran off before we had chance to take photos ??

Thank you so much to all the teachers, staff and children for making it such a great day and Umesh and Haseena who balanced large bags full of biscuits on the back of the bike ?? 150+ packs were given out.

We were delighted to be contacted by Travel Food Services (TFS) who are India´s fastest growing travel food & retail company. TFS had a nationwide collection of biscuits throughout their network. Goa Outreach was selected to be the recipient of around 28,000 packets of biscuits from the Goa branch. There were around 100 boxes of biscuits delivered over two days.

Here are a few photos of the first day giving out biscuits to a couple of local govt schools. We started off slow giving out just 6 packs of biscuits to each student, but over the last few days our 'biscuit care packages' have grown in size and number and now each student receives around 16 packs of biscuits and we have given out to around 350 primary students in 4 schools as well as giving to many of our own children and local families.

We have lots more photos to come and hope to give out more biscuits on Monday (rain allowing).

A huge thank you to Travel Food Services and their staff for selecting us and for the staff and teachers at the schools for allowing us to reach out to even more children. More photos coming soon!

Robert had a lovely suprise when the kids sang a song for Teachers day, the children with the help of Amina sang a song thanking him and gave messages of appreciation - oh and baked a cake! ?? The messages also mentioned Amina who deserves much more thanks than me (Rob) as she is the one who helps with homework in the afternoons, but it was a lovely surprise

On Tuesday we were invited to the beautiful ITC Grand hotel in South Goa to take part in a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) event for McCain Frozen Foods. The event had a large group of McCain employees taking part in various tasks throughout the day. We were needed at the end of the day so spent a couple of hours having a look around the beautiful grounds of the hotel before the heavens opened and the rain came down.
