Goa Outreach is a children's charity in Goa, India, that helps disadvantaged children, regardless of their religion, class, caste, or gender. Many of these children are slum and street children who have come to Goa alone or with their families in search of a better life.

Children often work on the streets to support their families. They may rag pick, collecting scrap metal and plastic to sell at recycling centers. Others may beg on the beaches or sell trinkets to tourists.

Please do not give money to children on the streets. This only encourages them to continue working instead of going to school. Instead, you can donate to organizations like Goa Outreach, which help children get an education and a better future.

Our main goal is to get and keep children in full time education

Education, Arts and CraftsEducation is the passport to the future...

Goa Outreach helps children get an education by providing them with all their educational needs and tutoring. We also work with schools to ensure that children are enrolled and attending classes regularly.

The Right to Education Act in India guarantees free and compulsory education to all children between the ages of 6 and 14. Goa Outreach supports children of all ages, including those who are older than 14. We also provide support for children in preschool and kindergarten.

Arts and Crafts Goa Outreach believes that arts and crafts are an important part of education. They help children develop their creativity, problem-solving skills, and hand-eye coordination. We offer a variety of arts and crafts classes, including painting, drawing, and sewing.

We believe that education is the key to a better future for all children. We are committed to helping children get the education they need to succeed.

Childhood Worth RememberingLaughter is the shortest distance between two people

We want to give street and slum children a childhood worth remembering. We want them to study hard, but we also want to provide them with a safe and fun environment where they can play and explore. We believe that a child's childhood should be filled with joy and laughter, and we are committed to making that happen for the children we support.

We believe that play is an essential part of childhood. It helps children develop their physical, cognitive, and social-emotional skills. It also helps them learn how to solve problems, cooperate with others, and manage their emotions.

We provide children with access to a variety of toys and games, as well as safe and supervised spaces to play. We also organize regular activities and events, such as field trips, sports days, and arts and crafts workshops.

We believe that our work is not only beneficial for the children, but also fun, safe, and an extension of their family life. We are committed to providing children with the best possible childhood, so that they can grow up to be healthy, happy, and successful adults.

Each month we provide Health Care items for the children to keep them in good health and we also provide support with medical emergancies and routine checkups

Health Care & Keeping CleanPrevention is better than cure

Children living in slums and on the streets often have poor health due to lack of access to healthcare and poor living conditions. Common health problems include scabies, impetigo, and conjunctivitis. Infected mosquito bites can also lead to more serious infections, as well as malaria and dengue fever.

Goa Outreach provides free medicines and monthly health packs to help children with their health problems. We also distribute mosquito nets and repellent to protect families from vector-borne diseases.

We believe that all children deserve access to quality healthcare, regardless of their circumstances. We are committed to providing the children we support with the care they need to stay healthy and thrive.

Help Street Children

Think Before GivingA simple way to get children to stop begging..
is to stop giving to children who beg!

We urge tourists not to give money or goods to children begging on the streets or beaches. This practice only encourages children to continue begging instead of going to school. Instead, you can support organizations like Goa Outreach that are working to get children off the streets and into school.

The practice of giving money to children who beg can also encourage parents or others to use even younger children to beg. This is because younger children are often seen as more appealing to tourists and are therefore more likely to get money. Additionally, children who beg are often physically tourtured into continuing to beg. This can be done through threats of violence or by withholding food or shelter. In some cases, children's wounds are not treated.
