It is with the deepest sorrow and a heavy heart that we share the incredibly sad news of the passing of one of our beloved students at Goa Outreach.This evening, we lost a bright and cherished young woman who had been a part of our family for five years. She blossomed into a smart and beautiful individual, and we held such hope for a long and happy future ahead of her. She was in her final year of her Bachelor's degree, just weeks away from her exams. While we may never fully understand the reasons behind her decision to leave us, our hearts ache with the knowledge of her passing.
She was not only a dedicated student but also a kind and helpful presence in our community, assisting with the education of our younger children. Her warmth and potential touched so many lives.
This heartbreaking loss serves as a poignant reminder of the immense pressures that young people in India, and indeed everywhere, can face. The weight of educational expectations, family responsibilities, and personal struggles can sometimes become overwhelming.
In this moment of profound grief, we implore you to reach out to your children, your friends, and your family. Take a moment to ask them if they are truly okay. Let them know, without a shadow of a doubt, that you are there for them, a safe harbor in any storm. Offer a listening ear, a comforting presence, and the unwavering support they may desperately need.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with her parents and family during this unimaginable time. We can only offer our heartfelt sympathy and the assurance that she was a truly lovely young woman with so much promise.

We had the most wonderful time celebrating Eid with our students and their families. It's a time of togetherness and joy, and we were so grateful to share it.
A huge shoutout to Anyuta, who surprised us with a delicious Eid feast - chicken biryani, chocolate cupcakes, and chocolates galore! Seeing the smiles on everyone's faces made our day. It was a busy two afternoons (so no pics - sorry), but every visit was filled with warmth and happiness.
