Happy Birthday Farin and Priya a "Mrs Universe Winner" |...

Today we had the pleasure of hosting the birthday for a "Mrs Universe Winner" and also one of our girls who also celebrated her birthday today.

Priya's family came along with team members who arranged goodie bags for the children, cake, sweets and more. The children sang and took part in a small dance session with the model.

It was nice to have such successful people take interest in our work and hope they share our story. Thank you Priya and family and everyone involved in the gathering. Happy Birthday!

Sappho was a very lucky young girl who celebrated her 4th birthday yesterday, the party was great although the parents ordered too much cake (if that's ever possible!) 2 extra cakes were donated last night and they were fabulous, real cream, strawberry and fresh fruit! - Yummy!

The cakes were cut into pieces and Robert with the help of Kajal took it out and distributed it in the slums, around 50 lucky children was happy to be included in the birthday celebrations.

We were very luck to have Esperance join us this afternoon, she is young herself but gave the children a presentation on evaporation along with slides and a small experiment. The afternoon was finished with her and her father providing the children with some drinks, sweets and crisps and they donated two boxes of sanitary pads and packs of soap that will be a great help with our monthly health packs.

It was lovely to meet her and her passion to give back to others.

HillTop Goa and Samarpan Foundation invited us to celebrate Hilltops 40 years anniversary. It was a sunny Sunday morning when the kids arrived at Hilltop in Vagator, Goa.

We arrived and watched while the final preparations were done for an outstanding fun packed day. There was live music which started off quite traditional and merged into a nice techno beat which really got the children dancing and active, as well as lots of music and dancing, there was a vibrantly dressed young lady dishing out a stead stream of bubbles which added a touch of magic to the day. There were also two bouncy castles for the children to play on, a balloon artist making animals and hats and lots of games organised by the fantastic staff. By afternoon the children were treated to a great lunch time snack with fries, samosa, wada, veg or chicken burger and drinks.

The day finished off with a few more games, presents for all the children (probably around 200 in total) and cutting and distribution of celebratory cake.

Thank you to EVERYONE involved, Hilltop, Samarpan Foundation, all the staff and volunteers and all the children who made it such a special day!
