Tie Die Tshirts, Mapusa, Goa
Some of the children have started their holidays after finishing their exams, so we got the tie-dye kits out and a few of the children set on creating their 70's revival tie-dye t-shirts. The kits were kindly donated by Penny and the girls and we tested one out a while back but this is the first chance to relax (for some of the kids) as the school year has come to an end. They aren't the best photos and hopefully next time I'll take some better shorts as we have around 15 t-shirts to dye..

Thank you for the Sanitary Pads and Nappies, Mapusa, Goa
A Huge thank you to Michelle who got in contact saying her friend had lots of old stock of Baby Diapers and Sanitary Pads for the girls. There was LOTS and managed to get it all after two trips on the motorbike. Thank you So Much! We don't directly help babies, but the baby Diapers went so quickly as all the families we help have or know families with young babies. Even some of our ex students have babies of their own now!

Thank you to the spotlight monolhues, Mapusa, Goa
The Spotlight Monologues that took place at The Sunaparanta Goa Centre in Panjim raised just over 39,000 Rs for the charity. This week we have just put all of the money raised towards notebooks for the upcoming Academic Year. A total of 990 books which will hopefully go a long way in providing the books for all of the 95 disadvantaged students we currently help. It is near the end of this year and exams are on most of the children's minds. Just 11 days for the10th Stadndard (GCSE Level) exams start...

The school year is drawing to a close. A bittersweet mood hangs in the air for 10th graders. They're not only facing exams, but the potential parting of ways with their close-knit friend groups as they embark on new paths. While college promises new friendships for many, the end-of-year farewell offers a chance to celebrate their time together in style. Here, are a few of the girls dressed in their beautiful sarees for the farewell celebration.

The Spotlight Monologues in Panjim, Goa, Panjim, Goa
A Huge thank you to all the team of the Spotlight Monologues who performed last night at Sunaparanta Goa Centre in Panjim. The Sunaparanta Goa Centre is a stunning area with some fascinating exhibitions, well worth a look. As always the cast (Antara Bhide, Arundhati Chattopadhyaya, Kalki Koechlin, Kimmy Katkar Sheorey, Rajyashree Dutt, Sandy SalAura and our very own Fiza) did an amazing power performance.
The charity evening raised a total of 39,070 Rs for us that will support the work we do supporting the education and healthcare of disadvantaged students.
Thank you to everyone who donated on the evening and offered to support us further.
