The Day before Eid the children wanted to put Mehndi on their hands and forearms, it was fine for me as it meant they were sat quietly and chilled for most of the afternoon ?? As you can see there are some great artists and the children enjoyed putting on each other. Thank you to Amina, Kajal and Shreya who did most of the artwork. Eid Mubarak everybody!

Thanks again to Penny and the girls for donating white Tshirts and the Tie Dye sets, the children spent the morning on Monday making colourful designs. The children took the Tshirts home directly so I haven't seen any of the finished items. I am sure I will in the next week as they show off their creations.

We got a knock on the door on a sleepy Sunday afternoon with a group of neighbours giving us lots of fruit, dried goods, vegetables and biscuits as well as a large stack of towels. We didn't really get chance to talk, but I would like to say on behalf of all the kids - Thank you! It is a great collection of items.... I see Banana cake and Banana Milkshakes on the menu tomorrow!

We were delighted to receive some lovely womens tops from a friend of Haseena's, there were several all the same style so the children paired them with some mini skirts that had been in storage for ages (as they are a little short really for the girls), but they wanted to look smart and I think they managed to do that. The joy on their faces says it all - Thank you to all those who have donated clothes, the children love a chance to try something new on.
