A Little Painting during the school holidays
Children are back in full-time education, which is great news for them and us. We have been struggling a little bit with a lack of visitors due to the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has kept many people away from Goa. However, we are hopeful that this will improve next year.
We have had a few Indian visitors who have donated clothes and cakes for the children, which is always welcome. We have also been fortunate to receive bicycles for the children through corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs organized by large companies that send their staff to Goa for team-building exercises.
The lovely people at Travel Food Services also donated a lot of biscuits, which took us a good month to distribute to all the local slums and government-aided/government schools. The children loved them!
