In 2018, we were fortunate to receive a huge donation of football shirts and footballs from the promoter of Mumbai City FC. Although the children were a little disappointed that they weren't Goa FC shirts, we were delighted to be able to go back out into the community and give out so many football shirts to school children and slum children alike.
We literally gave out thousands of shirts, footballs, and caps. It was hard work, but it was also very rewarding. In the years that followed, I would often see people around the market wearing the shirts we had given out.
