Christmas Day ? Presents
What more can I say other than "Pandemic!".
Before Covid and the enforced lockdown for the whole of India, the year started off so well with lots of activities for the children, but then it happened, a strict lock down engulfed the nation
So many of our families who live hand to mouth had no food and no way of getting more, as no shops were open and they had no money to buy it if they were. Our work exploded aswe were going out and sourcing basic rations (potatoes, onions, dal, rice) and distributing amongst the families in our care, then through word of mouth, more and more families got in touch and we helped 100's or 1000's of families, the need for help was terrifying but we were so happy that we could do our part to help the familes stuck without food.
