Guess what?!, Mapusa, Goa

One of our amazing former students, Arjun, stopped by the center today with celebratory Peda sweets! We thought, "Wedding bells?" But the news was even more exciting!**
Arjun has been chosen for police training in Assam!
We're incredibly proud! Since graduating with his Bachelor of Commerce, he's gained valuable experience working for a renowned hotel. But for many, serving the government is a dream, and we're thrilled for him to have this incredible opportunity.
It's a long journey - around 2,500 km and 3 days, 22 hours to be exact, starting from Vasco Da Gama Railway Station! But we know he's up for the challenge.
Arjun also took the time to thank Robert for his unwavering support since his first grade days (that's 6 years old!). Robert has been there every step of the way, and seeing Arjun's achieve his B.Com. was a true highlight.
We wish Arjun all the best in his training! With his dedication and strong qualities, we have no doubt he'll become a fantastic police officer.
Here is a photo of him way back in 2006...

Donations for the children, Mapusa, Goa

Thank you to the team at Ibis Styles for visiting us with food and school bags which they gave out to around 25 children. The children loved the food (French fries, juice and sandwiches) and delighted to receive a school bag each.
Thank you so much @ibisstyles for your kind donations.
A bright idea for a brighter future!, Mapusa, Goa

We were thrilled to be part of DHL's team-building adventure in South Goa. Their crew not only had fun but also made a real difference. They assembled solar lights from scratch and generously donated them to us!
These lights will illuminate homes and lives in our community. Thank you, DHL, for your creativity, kindness, and support!

Marine & Coastal Wildlife Training, Mapusa, Goa

We were contacted by Drishti who is in charge of the lifeguards at the beaches, they asked if the children would be able to create a banner for their up coming talk on Marine Drishti and Coastal Foundation, the banner needed to be around 6ft x 4ft.
The final design signoff only gave us a few days to get the banner ready, but the children did a fantastic job over seen by the talented Papu, I am sure you will agree that the final banner is fantastic and was glad to hear that they were also pleased and they used it during the events in Sinquerim and in South Goa.
They kindly donated 3000 Rs to Outreach. - Thank you!Goa Dogs Foundation, Mapusa, Goa

Neil from the Goa Dogs Foundation came to visit and spoke to the children about his work helping the location dog population. Neil organised some activities for the children about promoting their understanding of what the foundation does and how best to interact and look after animals. Some of the work done will be used in the campaigns and as a thank you the children received goodies including bagsm postcards and cups.
Thank you to Neil for his support and the great work he does here in Goa.
