Jowar Flour for the People!, Mapusa, Goa
A couple of weeks ago, Travel Food Services Pvt ltd and K Hospitality donated over 500 kg of jowar flour to us. That's a lot of flour!
Jowar flour is made from a type of millet that's high in protein and fiber. It's also gluten-free, making it a great option for people with celiac disease or other gluten intolerances.
In Karnataka, jowar flour is used to make a popular flatbread called roti. To make jowar roti, the flour is mixed with hot water and kneaded into a dough. Then, the dough is flattened using a slapping action with hands and cooked on a hot griddle.
We've been distributing the jowar flour to people in need over the past few days. We've been riding around on our motorbikes, delivering 50 kg of flour at a time.
Thanks again to Travel Food Services and K Hospitality for their generous donation! We're grateful for their ongoing support in helping us to feed the less privileged.

Our New Website, Mapusa, Goa

We're excited to announce that we've finally updated our website! We know it's been a while, but we've been working hard to make it the best it can be.
As a small charity, we do everything in- house, which means we're always busy. We're responsible for looking after the children, cooking, cleaning, accounts, the website, social media, and everything else in between. But we love what we do, and we're committed to providing the best possible care for the children in our care.
We hope you like the new website and take some time to explore it. And if you're feeling generous, please consider making a donation. Every little bit helps, and it means the world to us.
