700+ Christmas Presents Given Out
In 2014, we expanded our work in Goa to focus on getting children into formal education. We doubled the number of students we supported and helped new children in the local area with school admissions.
We also continued to provide basic hygiene items to children and helped several children with doctor, dentist, and hospital admissions. Some of the children had suffered from burns, typhoid, and tooth pain.
We were fortunate to receive gifts from visitors during the Christmas season, and we were able to distribute them to the children we support and to many more children in slum areas.
